Who we are

Lak Saviya Foundation (LSF) is a non-government and non-profit organisation established in Australia in 2002

Being an incorporated body in New South Wales, Australia, the legal status and the accountability of LSF are governed by the Associations Incorporation Act 1984 of Australia.

LSF is authorised to raise funds for charitable purposes in Australia.

LSF is also a registered NGO in Sri Lanka.

Our Mission

Our mission is to uplift the economic and social standards of needy people in Sri Lanka and elsewhere.

Our Objectives

Our objectives are:

• Assisting the needy and less privileged people to improve their basic needs such as health, education, energy and housing requirements.

• Providing assistance and guidance to economically disadvantaged youth to enhance their education in general and more emphatically, vocational education.

• Providing assistance to improve existing infrastructure and/or to build new infrastructure, in rural areas of Sri Lanka, where the less privileged predominantly reside.

• Assisting and engaging directly with world leading charity organisations in providing and facilitating aid and services to the needy making use of the in-house expertise of LSF.

• Assisting and/or working in partnership with other recognised Non Governmental Organisations (NGOs) registered with the Australian Government, Sri Lankan Government or the United Nations bodies having similar objectives.

• Exploring and establishing relationships with other organisations having similar objectives, both in Australia and Sri Lanka and in other countries, with a view to achieving the aims and objectives of the Foundation.

• Participating in community welfare and social activities in Australia within the framework of above strategic objectives.

Our sincere intention is to achieve these objectives in the most economical, environmentally friendly and ethical manner.
