Lak Saviya Foundation (LSF) is a dynamic non-profit organisation committed to the upliftment of the needy. It is an incorporated body in Australia, and a registered Non Government Organisation in Sri Lanka. LSF also has the authority to raise funds for charitable purposes in Australia.

It works on the principles of “Share the Resources” and “Helping the Needy Help Themselves". The aim is to encourage the needy to improve their living standards in a sustainable manner.

LSF expects the recipients to build-up their livelihoods or improve their institutions with an effort by utilizing the funds they receive effectively. 

Since its inception, LSF has undertaken a number of worthy projects for the needy in the following key areas:

• IT Education –bridging the “Digital Divide”.

• Education for Young and Old – providing scholarships and library services.

• Renewable Energy - solar electricity for rural families.

• Health – facilities for rural hospitals
