  • LSF was incorporated in January 2003 by a group of like minded Australians of Sri Lankan origin living in New South Wales, Australia, under the motto of “Helping the needy help themselves”. Over the years, it has built up partnerships with several institutions and individuals with similar objectives and intentions, both in Australia and Sri Lanka. Through these partnerships LSF has been able to contribute for many worthy projects, and has built up its capacity to raise funds and deliver projects in the order of A$ 50,000 per annum.

LakSaviya Foundation now has Deductible Gift Recipient status

The Australian Taxation Office (ATO) has endorsed LakSaviya Foundation Australia as a Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) with effect from 1st November 2016.

All donations to LSF, over $2, made since that date will be tax deductible.
